Europan 11 - European Urbanity

IDENTITY / USES / CONNECTIVITY
RESULTS FORM AUSTRIA, HUNGARY AND KOSOVO

The results of Europan, the world’s largest architectural competition for young architects, have been provoking crucial questions about the contemporary architectural agenda: How do the concepts of the award-winning young architects contribute to the urban development of our cities?

The publication of the selected Europan 11 projects in Austria, Hungary and Kosovo offers the reader the opportunity to investigate the possible role and impact of contemporary architectural work in different urban situations of European cities. The documentation of five European realization processes underlines the fact that the real challenge starts with the implementation of the competition: is culture of architectural construction ready to take the culture of architectural ideas seriously?
